SOULJA BOY TO FACE ASSAULT AND SEXUAL BATTERY LAW SUIT
The former Assistant of Soulja Boy has led serious allegations against the 30 year old rapper, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, claiming to have been locked in a room for 3 days and raped multiple times by Soulja Boy.
The woman's lawyer, Neama Rahmani, has stated the victim (who is yet to be named) is “traumatized and filled with fear" and is looking to claim damages in court.
Ms Rahmani also stated “His abuse imprisoned her physically, mentally and emotionally. When she mustered the courage to flee, he impoverished her. His exploitation severely hampered our client’s ability to re-establish herself in the workplace and in society. We believe he should be held accountable.”
The rapper would allegedly become enraged over comments on the woman's Instagram or over phone calls she received. In one instance the woman recalls the rapper saying "I should have killed you".
According to the law suit, the woman in question started working for Soulja Boy in 2018, which led to a romantic relationship between the two the following year. The woman has stated the abuse started shortly after this and continued until August 2020.
A set date for the court case is yet to be announced.
