WHAT'S ON FOR YOUNGSTARS
REBUILDING THE COMMUNITY
It’s time to help our young people,
TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE
Our young people are at the heart of everything we do, Sirlute programmes have been co-designed by our beneficiaries together with industry professionals and community leaders.
Constant cuts to youth services has resulted in our young people being further marginalised and overlooked. Our communities have been the birth place to many of today’s musical artists and industry insiders. We know there’s a wealth of talent on our doorstep; Sirlute programmes ensure young people access exceptional learning, support and guidance. As they start to grow in confidence, they begin to believe in themselves and realise there’s more to life than crime.
There’s a massive divide in Tower Hamlets and, on one side sits the wealth and privilege of Canary Wharf and literally meters away we have families living in poverty and deprivation.
Since Pepper st. Studio began in April 2019, Sirlute has successfully supported over 50 young people to engage with the music industry.
95% of Sirlute's services are FREE to young people age 19 and under. FIND OUT MORE
